I purchased an additional key fob for my 2025 trailblazer. Yes I went to the dealership knowing it would cost more, however I judged the price to be unconscionable, legal term for shocking the conscience. I realize General Motors put some programming safeguards within its cars to make it very difficult for auto theft rings to operate. However I have to believe dealerships take unfair advantage of this. Yes I could've tried to locksmith, but I wanted the damn car to start afterwards and a third-party locksmith would have all of my information all of my cars information and there is nothing to prevent them from selling that to a thief who could create another key and just make their private inventory and steal on demand. Put the port that really stuck in me is the key insert that clips into the fob I was charged $90 for this, in addition to the cost of the body of the key fob and an additional $250 for programming! Like I said General Motors customers have little option but to go to a dealer unless they want to risk theft later. It still is too much especially for a retired person.

They have a friendly staff who works with me to arrange convenient appointments. The service team keeps my car operating smoothly.

A pleasure to have my Silverado truck oil change and TPMS sensor changed as I waited for it to be completed.
